Government statistics are hard to come by, but there is no doubt that more and more foreign investors are choosing Bali for their second home or are becoming involved in property development projects. Land prices have continued to offer excellent returns for investors: in the last 2 years alone, land prices in many areas along the southern coast have at least doubled. In the Seminyak area, for example, land values have increased at least 300% in that period, and demand for Bali real estate remains high, fueling this potential for a high return on investment.
